I’ve been a professional makeup artist for over 4 decades, working in all media formats (print, runway, stage, video, and film).
I was invited to join IATSE Local 798 Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist Union in 1995 and upgraded to Journeyman (Makeup & SFX) in 1997.
I joined NATAS (National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences) in 1997. I’ve been nominated for five Emmy® Awards, and have won two Emmys for “Outstanding Achievement in Makeup for a Drama Series” as Department Head.
In 2012, I became the first American recipient of the International Goldene Maske für Visagistik Award (Golden Mask) – awarded for excellence in artistry, industry support, education, and mentorship.
